One way or another (Day 308, Year 2)

Well, it is the weekend and I have not finished my to-do list for the week, but I've decided that I don't care! I cannot care anymore, because once it is the weekend it is like you've stepped onto the express train and even if you left your grandmother and your handbag on the train platform, there is nothing you can do because the doors are closed and you are off.

You just have to believe that it will all work out, one way or another.

Isn't that a funny expression, "It will all work out, one way or another"? When people say it, they seem optimistic, like "It will work out," said with a positive voice and smile. But, really, the "one way or another," is a bit ominous isn't it? Like which way? Will the old lady and the handbag I left on the train platform end up kidnapped and stolen? Or will I see them again soon?

Anyway, enough of that thinking, because like I said it is the weekend! And let me tell you, a weekend with three children is like a true vacation! If your idea of vacation is navigating dance drama, girl scout camping chaos, missing soccer things, auditions, crew, games, laundry, a diabetic dog and church choir.

I mean, maybe this is your idea of vacation? I don't know, everyone is entitled to their own way of doing things, one way or another.

(See what I did there?)

Anyway, the great news is by 9:30pm tonight, I'll be in off in the woods fully immersed in camping chaos and dance drama will be over. So Mike will have to enjoy the other activities on the list without me, one way or another.

And listen this is literally all I have tonight for Yoke, because I actually have to go do things like make dinner and pack all my various medications and supplements, while documenting Chloe's first middle school dance! (She looks so adorable.).

Have a good weekend, friends! Next time you hear from me, I'll be writing from the woods.
